Lawrence Baier is a graduate of the Graphics Communication program at Hennepin Technical College.  His work for the Associated Press and United Press International news agencies has been published throughout the United States as well as internationally.  Lawrence has judged statewide photo competitions and is a member of the National Press Photographers Association.  He has worked as a contract/contributing photographer for two Minnesota newspapers.  Lawrence is currently affiliated with the Excelsior Fire District capturing digital images of their fire/rescue work.  Lawrence is also a photo contributor for The Lake Minnetonka Patch.
