That sounds like a blast. If we can keep the weather we have been having, I could see a great turn out for that!
Thanks Julie!

ReplyThanks for the comment Julie. Reading is a great way for kids to learn year round. With books like Hunger Games for example, parents and children can read them together and find enjoyment. So not only would they be learning, but they would be making it fun with their parents. That "how to study" class seems like a great class. I know that the Sylvan in Minnetonka has a "Study Skills" program that is great. People can go to their blog (http://www.sylvanmtka.blogspot.com/) and get contact info. I know that city libraries are also doing stuff this summer. I think, just like anything, the more options the better.
I couldn't agree more about going to museums or zoos. Not only are they fun, but there are very educational. Again, you can find discounted or free passes at your local library.
Thanks again for your post and keep them coming! Hope you are having a great start to your week.

I guess for me it would depend on the age of the child. If the child is old enough to go to, and enjoy, places like Valleyscare, why not?
But, with that being said, I would hope parents would let their children know they be getting a "normal" birthday party.
