Wayzata School Board Recognizes Students Nov. 12
The Wayzata School Board will recognize students for academic achievements Nov. 12 and moved its regular meeting to Nov. 13.
A Wayzata School Board student recognition meeting is set for 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Wayzata City Hall. In observance of Veterans Day and by law, the regular meeting was moved from Nov. 12 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at Wayzata City Hall. According to the district, by law, it can not hold an official meeting on Veterans Day, but because it had scheduled so many students and staff for recognition on Monday, those are continuing to hold the recongitions on Monday for the sake of their schedules. The recognitions can be held because they are not official board business and do not require the board to take action.
