Wayzata P.D. Blotter: Domestic Assault, Smashed Window and Stolen Purse

The following are a selection of notable incidents responded to by the Wayzata Police Department between Dec. 12 and Dec. 15. Not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity. Misdemeanor domestic assault charges are pending against a husband and wife from Long Lake following an altercation at their home Dec. 15. Police were called to the residence on Underhill Circle just before 10 p.m. An employee from Lund's had a purse and contents stolen from the grocery store's break room on Dec. 15. Value of the stolen items was not available. Police were called just after 1 p.m. A neighbor observed a suspect steal a white, covered trailer from the driveway of a home on the 100 block of Gleason Lake Road. Wayzata P.D. Blotter: Stolen Cheese, Burglarized Flowers and Silly String

The following are a selection of notable incidents responded to by the Wayzata Police department between Oct. 9 and Oct. 14. Not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity. The emergency bypass gate on the 1700 block of Wayzata Boulevard West in Long Lake was damaged Oct. 14. The damage appeared to be from a vehcile passing through the gate between Hwy. 12 and West Wayzata Boulevard. The report was recieved just before 8 a.m. An intoxicated 23-year-old male from Maple Plain was arrested just before midnight Oct. 13 after police responded to a 911 hang up call originating from the 400 block of Rice Street East. The male reportedly had an altercation with his girlfriend and was taken into custody on fifth-degree domestic assault charges…
