Members of the community will have a pair of opportunities next week to take a glimpse at the possible future of Wayzata's lakefront. After several months of gathering community input, Wayzata's Lake Effect Planning Initiative will host an open house on Tuesday, Jan. 15, to present their findings and update the city council on progress. On Tuesday, Dec. 4, the Wayzata Lakefront Planning Initiative (commonly referred to as Lake Effect) will provide a progress report to the Wayzata City Council during their regularly scheduled meeting. The project team, led by Patrick Seeb of the Saint Paul Riverfront Corporation, will discuss preliminary findings to date along with the first set of shared community values for consideration.
