Orono Mound Westonka Boys Swim and Dive Advances to True Team State Meet
OMW received a wild card bid to advance to True Team State on January 26 at the University of Minnesota Aquatic Center.
For the second year running, the Orono Mound Westonka (OMW) co-op boys swim and dive team finished third behind Monticello at the True Team Section meet, which took place this year Jan. 19 at Richfield. OMW received a wild card bid to advance to the State Meet on Jan. 26 at the University of Minnesota. Section winners advance automatically to True Team State with an additional six teams advancing by invitation. OMW’s 720 points were just 11 points shy of second place thanks in part to two relay DQs for Monticello.
