by Lorrie Ham Nine Mound Westonka High School musicians were selected for the Second Annual Wright County Conference (WCC) Honor Band, which performed Jan. 12 in Hutchinson. Band directors from the WCC were asked to nominate their best students. Student selections were made to ensure that all schools in the conference were represented, as well as to provide the correct number of students to play each instrument. Representing Westonka were Leah Pinault, Zach Blume, Hannah Randklev, Grant Harrison, Kristen Holmberg, Timmy Levens, Rob Stokes, Elle Montgomery and Hanna Brustad.
