OLYMPIC SPOILER ALERT: Wayzata Grad Misses 200-Meter Freestyle Semis

Heather Arseth is swimming for the island nation of Mauritus at the 2012 London Olympics.

Heather Arseth, a 2011 graduate of Wayzata High School and an Olympian for the nation of Mauritius, did not advance to the semifinals in the women's 200-meter freestyle Monday morning.  Arseth finished fourth in her heat with a time of 2:07:81. The fastest qualifying time was 1:57:16, registered by Pellegrini Federica of Italy. The 200-meter freestyle event was the only one Arseth was competing in at the London Olympics. She is one of 11 Olympians the nation of Mauritius sent to the London Olympics. Arseth swims with the Aquajets Swim Club in Eden Prairie, the same club as USA swimmer Rachel Bootsma. Arseth is also a standout on the University of Iowa's squad. Patch hopes to speak with Arseth from London and will post updates to this story…
