Shorewood Hosts Open House this Week to Discuss Proposed Trail Extension
The City of Shorewood is proposing a pedestrian trail from the City of Victoria on Smithtown Road to the Lake Minnetonka LRT trail at Eureka Road.
The City of Shorewood will host an open house this Thursday, Nov. 15, to discuss with area residents the planned Smithtown Road Trail project. Shorewood is proposing a pedestrian trail from the City of Victoria on Smithtown Road to the Lake Minnetonka LRT trail at Eureka Road. Thursday's open house will take place at Minnewashta Elementary School and begin at 6:30 p.m. Residents will have an opportunity to get information about the proposed trail, talk with city staff and engineering consultants and give their feedback on the plans. The draft feasibility study and the Shorewood Trail Implementation Plane are available on the city's web site.
