The following is a selection of notable incidents reported to the Wayzata Police Department between July 3 and July 9. It is not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity. A 44-year-old male from Waconia was arrested July 9 and charged with fourth-degree DWI after a person reported a suspicious vehicle in a bank parking lot. The driver's blood alcohol level field tested at .12. A car belonging to an employee of a business and parked on the 1300 block of Wayzata Boulevard East had its windows broken just before 10 p.m. on July 8. An empty backpack and empty computer case were stolen. Loss estimates are unknown. A garage door opener was reported missing July 6 from an unlocked car parked on the 200 block of Central Avenue. May 27 Six citations were issued to individuals between the ages of 18 and 20 for underage consumption of alcohol after police were called to an address on the 200 block of Grove Lane. The incident took place just before 1 a.m. A 23-year-old male from Chanhassan was arrested on suspicion of third-degree DWI and for second-degree test refusal following a 10:45 p.m. traffic stop near the intersection of Central Avenue and Wayzata Boulevard East. Below is a selection of notable incidents responded to by the Wayzata Police Department between May 3 and May 6. It is not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity. A 31-year-old male from Decorah, IA, was arrested May 6 following a traffic stop near the intersection of Bushaway Road and Wayzata Boulevard. The arrest took place at 11:41 a.m. and executed by a Mound police officer working a special detail in the Wayzata area. A GPS unit was stolen from an unlcocked vehicle parked on the 2000 block of Orchard Lane May 5. Value of the item is estimated at $150. Five golf clubs valued at approximately $500 were reported stolen May 5 from a vehicle parked on the 400 block of Ferndale Road. Glass was broken on a door to an apartment …
