How to use Lake Minnetonka Patch's free events calendar.
There are things happening all over Lake Minnetonka every day, and it's impossible for one person to know about all of them. You can help make this site a better representation of what's going on in the community by adding the events you know about to our calendar—for free. The video above explains how it works, and it's incredibly easy. Here's a step-by-step: If you have trouble posting an event or have questions, email Jay.Corn@patch.com. Looking for some family fun during holiday break? Here are a few ideas from the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum to cure "cabin fever" and even "burn off" a few calories. Arboretum buildings will close early Christmas Eve day (at 3 p.m.) and buildings and grounds will be closed entirely on Christmas Day—Tuesday, Dec. 25—but open the rest of the week. The holiday decor will still be up, the Restaurant open and lots of fun to be had. For more info, visit www.arboretum.umn.edu or call952-443-1400.
