Take Your Kid Ice Fishing on Lake Minnetonka this Weekend

Saturday youth ice fishing league event on Lake Minnetonka is free and open to anyone wishing to wet a line and spend some time with their favorite kid.

Kids between the ages of four and 14 are invited to a free ice fishing event on Lake Minnetonka this weekend. Fishing begins at 9 a.m. on Carsons Bay. Headquarters will be a green ice house in the middle of the bay. Awards for most points and biggest fish will be presented at 11 a.m. to those who come to the weigh-in location in Carsons Bay. Saturday's ice fishing event is part of an ongoing ice fishing league for kids, but all are invited to fish this weekend. Click here for more information on Lake Minnetonka's ice fishing league. A limited amount of equipment will be available for use in Carsons Bay.
