The lawsuit by the NBA player's former personal assistant also names his mother, the newspaper reported.
Kris Humphries, whose star rose from Hopkins High School to the NBA to divorce from Kim Kardashian, has now passed another celebrity milestone: being sued by his personal assistant. According to the C.J. column in the Star Tribune: Tracy Paradise says her contract as Kris Humphries’ $75,000-a-year personal assistant was terminated about six months early. She wants the balance of the money she claims to be owed plus some other items. According to the lawsuit: “Out of sheer spite, the Humphries have unjustifiably failed … to return Paradise’s personal property,” including a mountain bike, an Ironman Coeur d’Alene finisher’s mug, a Whistler mug and a Magic Bullet blender. She appeared to have won the traditional divorce she sought in place of an annulment based on reality-show fraud he claimed, the Associated Press reported.
A judge in Los Angeles gave his stamp of approval Friday to a settlement of divorce proceedings between NBA player Kris Humphries and celebrity Kim Kardashian, the Associated Press reported. The pair shared his home in Mound during their 72-day marriage in 2011. Humphries, who plays for the Brooklyn Nets, is a native of Minnetonka and attended Hopkins High School, leading the school to a state championship in 2002. The AP provided this account: He sought an annulment claiming their marriage in an elaborate wedding ceremony was a fraud staged for her reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." She denied the allegations and insisted on a traditional divorce. She apparently won. "The court is going to grant dissolution of marriage," …

Former Hopkins High School Star and current Lake Minnetonka resident has been rewarded with a multi-year deal after having the best season of his career.
Multiple outlets are reporting Kris Humphries has signed a new contract with the Brooklyn Nets that will pay him $24 million over the next two seasons. "I'm up at Brooklyn!" Humphries tweeted late Tuesday afternoon. Humphries is a graduate of Hopkins High School and currently owns a home on the northern shores of Lake Minnetonka. He purchased the lakeshore property in July 2005 for $1.55 million and is spotted regularly around the lake. The new contract will bump Humphries' salary up from the $8 million he made during the 2011-12 season to about $12 million per year and gives the Nets a solid rebounder and post defender. The Nets, who are partially owned by rapper Jay Z, will be relocating to Brooklyn this season after spending more than …

Lake Minnetonka resident and late-night punch line Kris Humphries is still without a job. With less than two weeks until the NBA season tips off, Humphries has been left out of the frenzy of free agent signings that has taken place since owners and players finally agreed on a new labor deal earlier this month—ending a lockout that erased the first 12 weeks of the regular season. The 6-foot-9-inch Humphries made $3.2 million last season playing for the New Jersey Nets and is reportedly looking for a multi-year contract worth in the neighborhood of $5 million a season. Humphries had the best season of his career last year—averaging double digits in points and rebounds while playing in all but eight games for the Nets. He shot better than 52…

With the NBA lockout showing no signs of ending anytime soon and his marriage on the rocks, Kris Humphries has retreated to his Lake Minnetonka home to escape the public eye. Nestled along the lake’s secluded northern shore with a spectacular view of the water, Humphries' home blends in seamlessly with others in the upscale Mound subdivision on Island View Drive. After America watched his highly publicized courtship and marriage to socialite Kim Kardashian on the E! Network’s hit television show “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” Kardashian filed for divorce from the 26-year-old Minnetonka native after just 72 days of marriage. The marital breakdown has since become regular fodder for late night comedians and gossip columnists. Except for …
