Excelsior will be buzzing with activity today as a summer tradition begins anew at the Bayside Grille and Fox Sports North welcomes Twins fans to Maynard's for a viewing party. Cities 97 radio host Brian Oake returns to Lake Minnetonka this afternoon to kick off the 10th season of "Oake on the Water." A play off the Deep Purple song "Smoke on the Water," Lake Minnetonka was the site of the first "Oake on the Water" in 2002, and the veteran Minneapolis disc jockey has returned every summer since—often multiple times each season.
