Children's Programs in Three Rivers Park District for November
Several parks in the north metro have kid-friendly programs Nov. 11-14, 2012, including turkey and nature related activities. Preregistration is required.
Provided by Three Rivers Park District My Preschooler & Me: Nature Discoveries — I’m a Turkey! Sunday, Nov. 11, from 2:30-4 p.m., at Eastman Nature Center, in Elm Creek Park Reserve, Dayton. Explore nature with your preschooler as you both participate in hands-on discoveries. Listen to the book “I’m a Turkey,” by Jim Arnosky. Examine turkey artifacts, hike in search of wild turkeys, and put out some corn. Design a turkey art project, play turkey games, and dance the turkey pokey. Cost is $5 and reservations are required.
