Come celebrate the Year of the Snake! The Minnetonka School District invites the community to the annual Chinese New Year celebration on Friday, Jan. 25, from 5:30-8 p.m. at Minnetonka High School located in the West Gym, Cafeteria and Student Commons. The free event gives local teachers and community volunteers the opportunity to showcase various Chinese traditions with live entertainment, music, food, crafts and activities for the entire family. Local Restaurants Beijing and Mandarin Yang of Minnetonka will be selling authentic Chinese food on site. (Cash only, please.)
