Westonka Alum Selected for Collegiate All-Star Band

Casey Simonson played the euphonium in the All-Star Band. He is from Mound and is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Philip G. Simonson.

Casey Simonson, a senior chemistry-biology major at Ripon College, performed in the 10th Annual College All-Star Band of the National Band Association-Wisconsin Chapter (NBA-WC), on Friday, Jan.18, at the Lincoln High School Performing Arts Center in Wisconsin Rapids. Simonson played the euphonium in the All-Star Band. He is from Mound and is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Philip G. Simonson. Related posts: Each year, the All-Star Band attracts more than 90 of the state's top college and university band students and conductors. Selection for the band is competitive and requires the successful submission of student and conductor applications. Mound College Student Recognized for Academic Achievement

Casey Simonson is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Philip G. Simonson of Mound.

Casey Simonson, a junior chemistry-biology major from Mound, was recently honored at the 2012 Ripon College Awards Convocation, an annual event recognizing student achievement during the academic year. Casey is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Philip G. Simonson of Mound. Simonson was honored with membership in Beta Beta Beta, which recognizes senior biology majors who have demonstrated the highest degree of excellence and initiative in biology classes. The award includes a letter of credit intended for the purchase of biology books.
