Today: Excelsior Hosts 'Art on the Lake' Festival

Kick off the summer in Excelsior this weekend with a grand art show featuring ceramics, clothing, fibers, glass, leather, metal, mixed media, jewelery, paintings, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, photography, wood, recycled green and more.

Grammy Award winning Okee Dokee Brothers, as well as bluegrass, acoustic and indie rock musicians will perform.

There will also be a kids' art tent, several food vendors and a wine/beer tent.

Vendors and thousands of visitors from throughout the Lake Minnetonka area and surrounding region are expected for the two-day festival.
