Support Lake Minnetonka Nonprofits During Give to the Max Day

Hundreds of Lake Minnetonka nonprofit groups are participating in today's state-wide fundraising drive.

Thousands of Minnesota nonprofits are today asking supporters to maximize their charitable dollars by donating during GiveMN.org’s Give to the Max Day.

Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners is currently No. 6 on the donation list, with more than $68,000 raised as of 11:30 a.m.

The Orono Alliance for Education, Lake Minnetonka Figure Skating Club, Lake Minnetonka Garden ClubLake Minnetonka Sailing School and Excelsior-Lake Minnetonka Historical Society are just a few of the local organizations participating in Give to the Max Day.

Wednesday's event offers incentives to inspire nonprofit and donor participation. Grants are available for the top-earning nonprofits in several categories, and there will also be random grants.
