Shortly after midnight this morning, July 4th, a garage/house fire was called in to the Chanhassen Fire Department. A call for mutual aid was put out to Excelsior Fire District, Victoria Fire, Eden Prairie Fire and Minnetonka Fire. First units on the scene at 4011 Crestview Drive reported the garage was showing heavy flames and smoke. In addition to the Fire units paramedics from Ridgeview Medical Center as well as Carver County Deputies were at the scene. A vehicle in the garage along with most of the garage was destroyed. Firefighters made every effort to save the home and indeed did so.
