What has been described as “the greatest outdoor party of summer” takes place this week at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

"Toast & Taste in the Gardens" promises to be a festive and tasteful outdoor celebration of all that is “fresh, local and green” within the Twin Cities food scene.

The jubilation of food and drink is set to commence on Thursday evening, July 25, at 6 p.m., and is scheduled to wrap up around l 9 p.m. in the Arboretum gardens. Foodies can enjoy epicurean delights from local farms and producers prepared by the Twin Cities top independent restaurants and chefs. Regional wineries and breweries will also be present, pouring samples of their finest wines and ales. There will also be live music to complement the evening of food and refreshments in the lush garden landscape.

Prepare to enjoy gourmet fare from participating local restaurants such as Café Maude, The Minneapolis Club, Terra Waconia, Lakewinds & Ferndale Farms, Oceanaire Seafood Room, Wise Acre Eatery and more. Local vineyards/wineries Carlos Creek, St. Croix Vineyards and Northern Vineyards will be offering wine samples as well as their expert opinions on tasting and pairing.
