Westonka Youth Wrestlers Compete in State Tournaments

Tyler Stevenson, Dimitri Anderson, Devon Noethe, Dylan Albert, Colton Smith, Cole Munsterteiger, Sam Dioszeghy and Brock Munsterteiger wrestled in two of Minnesota's most competitive youth wrestling tournaments.

Several wrestlers from the Mound Westonka White Hawks youth wrestling program recently competed in state tournaments in Albany and Rochester.

Kindergartener Cole Munsterteiger, second-grader Sam Dioszeghy and sixth-grader Brock Munsterteiger all wrestled in the Northland Youth Wrestling Association (NYWA) state tournament in Rochester April 5-7. The NYWA is considered one of the most competitive state tournaments, and participants must place in the top-two in district competition and then the top-three in region competition to qualify.
