U of M's Danny Zilverberg from Wayzata in NCAA Wrestling Tournament
The action starts Thursday morning. ESPN channels will carry the tournament on cable TV.
Danny Zilverberg, a University of Minnesota wrestler from Wayzata High School, will be one of the Gophers on the mats when the NCAA wrestling tournament opens Thursday at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
Zilverberg (16-12) enters the tournament unseeded at 157 pounds. His first opponent: Georgi Ivanov of Boise (22-5). (Click on PDF thumbnail to see the brackets.)

Thursday’s opening session will begin at 11 a.m. Central. The event concludes with the championship finals on Saturday evening. The entire tournament will be aired live by the ESPN family of networks.
