A third-consecutive shutout kept the Wayzata volleyball team on a roll as the Trojans remained tied atop the Lake Conference standings.

A 3-0 win at Hopkins (25-18, 25-18, 25-17) on Tuesday upped the Wayzata volleyball team to 9-3 overall and 2-0 in Lake play. Individual statistics were not made available.

Wayzata Girls Soccer

A 3-0 shutout of the top-ranked Wayzata girls soccer team improved the Trojans to 10-0-1 this autumn as the Trojans remained all alone atop the Lake standings with a 3-0-1 record.

Maddie Eklin, Kiana Nickel, and Katie Schultz scored for Wayzata, while Delane Swanson made six saves for her third shutout of the campaign.

Wayzata Boys Soccer

The Wayzata boys soccer team topped Hopkins, 5-1, on Tuesday to improve to 5-4-1 on the year. Individual statistics were not made available. 

Wayzata Girls Swimming and Diving

The Wayzata girls swimming and diving team defeated Minneapolis Southwest, 103-74, on Tuesday. Individual statistics were not made available. 

Wayzata Girls Tennis

The Wayzata girls tennis team lost 5-2 to Edina on Tuesday. Individual statistics were not made available. 

Orono Cross-Country

The Orono cross-country teams competed at the Grasshopper Meet on Tuesday, with the Spartans boys taking first place and the girls finishing fifth. Individual statistics were not made available. 

Orono Girls Soccer

A second-straight shutout, this time a 4-0 blanking of Delano, improved the fifth-ranked Orono girls soccer team to 7-3 on the season. 

The Spartans lead the Wright County Conference standings with a 5-1 league mark, with Nikki Smith scoring twice to lead the team against Delano. Sophie Babo and Emily Knight added goals while goalkeeper Abigail Personius making six saves for her third clean sheet this year.

Orono Boys Soccer

The Orono boys soccer team improved to 7-0 overall and 3-2 in the Wright Country with a 7-0 defeat of Delano on Tuesday. 

Jacob Ripley netted the hat trick with three scores as Will Semsch added to his team lead in scoring with two goals against the Tigers. Ian McNamara and Hunter Bohl added their first tallies of the year in the game, while goalie Liam Sullivan made seven saves for his inaugural shutout.

Mound Westonka Cross Country

Mound Westonka Parker Wharram and Shawna Heilman claimed the boys and girls individual titles, respectively, at the Grasshopper Meet on Tuesday.

Wharram ran the 5-kilometer boys course in 16 minutes, 42 seconds to lead the White Hawks boys to a second-place finish, with Heilman running a 4K time of 16:09.

Mound Westonka Girls Tennis

The Mound Westonka girls tennis team lost, 7-0, to Delano on Tuesday. Individual statistics were not made available. 

Mound Westonka Girls Swimming and Diving

The Mound Westonka girls swimming and diving team recorded 202 points to earn a victory at St. Anthony Village on Tuesday. Individual statistics were not made available.

Mound Westonka Volleyball

The Mound Westonka volleyball team defeated Sibley East in three games (25-10, 25-17, 25-20) to improve to 11-4-1 on the season. 

Leading the White Hawks statistically after the match were: Brenna Mack with 179 kills and 132 digs, Callie Mack with 302 assists and 31 service aces and Alicia Martin-Vega with 35 blocks.

Mound Westonka Girls Soccer

A 3-0 defeat of Hutchinson on Tuesday improved the Mound WEstonka girls soccer team to 3-0 on the year. 

Goalkeeper Kizzie Sotak made four saves for the shutout. Goalscoring statistics were not confirmed.

Mound Westonka Boys Soccer

The Mound Westonka boys soccer team improved to 8-1 with a 5-0 defeat of Hutchinson. Individual statistics were not made available.
