What sports do you play during the year?

I swim all year.

Who was your favorite athlete growing up and why?

Joe Mauer—he is a great athlete and just an all-around good guy.

How would you describe yourself in three words or less?

Kind, friendly, thoughtful.

What is your favorite movie?

Step Up.

Do you have a favorite sports memory that sticks out to you?

Being voted captain for my senior season.

What’s an item you’d like to check off your bucket list in the next year?

Complete a triathlon (or at least a mini-triathlon).

If you could visit any place in the world, where would you go and why?

Switzerland —I had an exchange student from Switzerland living with me last year, and I can’t wait to visit her and see her home!

What are your plans next year (going to college? majoring in? playing sports?)

I’m planning on going to college and possibly majoring in special education. The schools I’m most interested in are Division I schools, so I will probably stop swimming competitively and just swim for fun and to stay in shape.
