Senior Spotlight: Bryan Tabery

The Wayzata senior, who spent the winter at center for the Trojans boys hockey team, is now roaming the baseball field.

Who was your favorite athlete growing up and why?

Colorado Avalanche center Joe Sakic—unbelievable work ethic and class.

How would you describe yourself in three words?

Hard-working, determined and tenacious.

What is your favorite subject in school?

Math.

If you could be someone else for a day, who would you be and why?

Mr. Paul Voelker—such a great mentor and friend.

What is your favorite quote?

"Just get a little better every day"—Coach O'Leary.

What song do you usually listen to before games to get you pumped up?

"Thunderstruck" by AC/DC.

What has been the most exciting moment in your life so far?

Losing section finals (4-3 in double overtime) in hockey to Eden Prairie, this year's eventual Class AA champion.

What are your plans for next year?

Going to the University of Minnesota and studying in the Carlson School of Management.
