Preview: Lake Minnetonka Figure Skating Club 'Dance on Ice' Revue

There will be Happy Feet, Fabulous Feet, salsas, mambos and more—all on skates—as the presents the 38th Annual Silver Skates Ice Revue, Dancing on Ice, May 3, 4 and 5 at the . More than 260 skaters, from 3 years old to adult, will glide, spin and leap their way through the three two-hour performances.  

The show highlights virtually all genres of dancing spanning several generations of music, from jump blues and rock and roll to today’s pop hits and movie soundtracks. The skaters, who include a number of national competitors, come from throughout the west Metro, representing Minnetonka, Hopkins, Chaska, Excelsior, Victoria, Mound, Maple Grove, Plymouth, Eden Prairie, Deephaven, Minnestrista, Orono and Greenwood.

The show includes performances Thursday, May 3 and Friday, May 4 at 6:30 p.m. and a matinee performance Saturday, May 5 at 2 p.m. 

General admission tickets are $6.00 and available at the door with free admission for children five and under. The Saturday matinee is free for senior citizens and individuals with special needs.
