Orono future stars hit the road this weekend and returned home champions of the Shakopee 11AA Baseball Tournament, played June 24-26. 

The Spartans beat four teams to earn a place in the championship game against New Ulm, who they defeated 6-0. 

The team has won all 16 of this season's tournament games and is lead by manager Keith Korsi and assistant coaches Gary Michel and Mark Carlson.
