The Mound-Westonka softball team remained unbeaten with a 4-1 win over Orono on Thursday—its second win over the defending Wright County Conference champions this season.

White Hawks pitcher Kim Hutchins gave up one hit in the ballgame while striking out 13. Orono's lone hit was a home run that put the Spartans on the board.

M-W scored all three of its runs in the third inning, highlighted by a two-run home run by Hutchins. She finished the day 1-for-3 with a homer and two RBIs.

Brooklyn Pouti finished 1-for-3 with a double and a run, and KatieJo Delisle finished 1-for-3 with a run and an RBI.
