Wayzata Swim Team Sets Sights on Section Championships

The Trojans face a loaded field in the Section 5AA swimming and diving championships today.

The defending True Team State champions, Wayzata finished third behind Lake Conference rivals Edina and Minnetonka last month. Wayzata is ranked No. 4 by the Coaches Association. The top two individuals and top relay teams in each event advance to state, and any swimmer meeting the state qualifying time moves on as well.

Zoe Tu, Wayzata: She was third in the 200-meter individual medley at the True Team State meet. The junior was also part of the second place 400 freestyle relay team.
