AP: Judge OKs Kim Kardashian-Kris Humphries Divorce Settlement

She appeared to have won the traditional divorce she sought in place of an annulment based on reality-show fraud he claimed, the Associated Press reported.

 

A judge in Los Angeles gave his stamp of approval Friday to a settlement of divorce proceedings between NBA player Kris Humphries and celebrity Kim Kardashian, the Associated Press reported.

The pair shared his home in Mound during their 72-day marriage in 2011. Humphries, who plays for the Brooklyn Nets, is a native of Minnetonka and attended Hopkins High School, leading the school to a state championship in 2002.

He sought an annulment claiming their marriage in an elaborate wedding ceremony was a fraud staged for her reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."

She denied the allegations and insisted on a traditional divorce. She apparently won.

"The court is going to grant dissolution of marriage," the judge said, advising that the divorce would not be final until papers are drawn up and signed.

And what did Humphries get out of the deal by being a pill since Halloween 2011 and insisting on an annulment instead of a divorce? Looks like it's a big pile of nothing, unless you count attorney fees as a prize.
