The community is invited to take part in an adventure “under the sea” when Grandview Middle School presents Disney’s "The Little Mermaid, Jr.," on the Grandview stage March 7 through 10.

In a magical kingdom deep under the sea, the beautiful young mermaid Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she’ll have to defy her father King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula, and convince Prince Eric that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice.

The musical features an entire cast of sea creatures who sing and dance their way through the production, which includes over 40 students in the cast and crew.

The performance is directed by Mary Todd Kaercher and Andrea Schussler, who feel this is one of their best shows ever.
