Wayzata Superintendent Taps South St. Paul Educator for Principal Post

Sam Fredrickson will be recommended for the Birchview Elementary School principal job at next month's school board meeting.

Superintendent Chace Anderson said Tuesday he will recommend the appointment of Sam Fredrickson as the next Birchview Elementary School Principal at the April 8 Wayzata Board of Education meeting. 

Fredrickson is currently the assistant principal at Kaposia Education Center with the South St. Paul School District. He received his M.A. degree from Saint Thomas University and his Education Specialist degree from the University of Minnesota. 

"We are pleased Sam will be joining the Birchview Elementary School community to continue their strong tradition of excellence," Superintendent Anderson said.
