Wayzata High School Students Audition for MTV Reality Show
Wayzata High School students tried out for the MTV Series "Made" on Wednesday.
A few dozen Wayzata High School students came to the school’s library Wednesday afternoon for a chance to audition for MTV’s “Made,” a reality show where students are coached on how to fulfill their life goals.
Auditioning Wayzata students aspired to be boxers, rappers, skateboarders and actors.
Nacasia Gullingsrud, a senior from Plymouth, said she wanted to learn how to box in order to express her inner anger.
“I want to be able to show people that I am a tough girl and that I can do it, because not everyone thinks I can do it,” she said.
She said she’s done Tae Bo in the past, but does not have any boxing experience.
MTV provided the school with a release for parents to sign.
The casting process includes a callback and a “green light test,” where students spend three days with a camera crew.
MTV casts 50 students a year for “Made.”
