Trojans Volleyball Takes Third at Chaska Invite
Team goes 3-1 with only loss coming at the hands of Eagan
The Wayzata volleyball team competed at the Chaska Invitational on Saturday.
The Trojans advanced to the winners bracket by winning their pool. The squad first defeated Hibbing in straight sets 25-13 and 25-19.
Then the team rallied in a comeback win over Stewartville (20-25, 28-26, 15-11) to take first in their pool.

In the winners bracket, they lost their first match to Eagan (22-25, 25-18, 9-15). The team rebounded with a 2-1 win for third place over last year's Class A state champions Wabasha-Kellogg.
Wayzata (18-9) will begin section play on Oct. 26th with the match at the high seed's school.
