Snow Forces Shuffling of High School Sports Calendar

A late blast of winter weather has forced the postponement of multiple high school athletic events scheduled for today.
Below are the updates Patch has confirmed so far. Mound-Westonka High School has no games on the schedule today, and all contests involving Orono High School were still on as of this posting. Stay tuned for additional updates throughout the afternoon as they become available.
Wayzata’s varsity golf team will now tee off against Hopkins on May 25. The junior varsity’s match has been rescheduled for May 2. The girl’s junior varsity squad’s match has been pushed to May 12.

Varsity, junior varsity and ninth grade tennis action against Elk River has been moved to April 21.
All Wayzata baseball games against Edina scheduled for today have been postponed to April 23. The ninth grade baseball team’s game has been rescheduled for May 10.
