Orono Middle School Track Coach Dies Following Medical Emergency

First responders were on the scene immediately. Despite their best efforts, unfortunately Bob Perry died.

At approximately 4 p.m. today, there was a medical emergency in the Orono High School parking lot.

Middle School track coach and Orono parent Bob Perry collapsed. First responders were on the scene immediately. Despite their best efforts, unfortunately Mr. Perry died.

Orono Schools' crisis team will be available tomorrow to support students, faculty and community as needed. Our community and schools will work together to support this family and each other
