“I would like to thank Lord Fletcher’s for always honoring teachers.  I am proud of my profession and am inspired by the children on a daily basis,” Hofstad said. “With the 21st Century Skills, education has changed and allows me to individualize and differentiate instruction for the students of today. I am proud to be a Westonka Teacher.”

Hofstad received a Master Teacher Award and was named to the Dean’s List while earning both her Bachelor and Master degrees.

“Jenny is an outstanding teacher and has been a teacher leader at Hilltop. Jenny is the type of teacher who takes time to meet with the students, to clarify goals with them, and helps them all reach success points during their time in her second-grade classroom,” Principal Nancy Benz said. “Jenny is also the type of person who leads in a positive way and helps the staff see viewpoints from other's perspectives. I am proud to have Jenny as a staff member at Hilltop!”

Each Feature Teacher winner receives a certificate for a brunch for two at Lord Fletcher’s.
