Medallion Hunt Kicks off Orono PTO's 2013 Fun Fest
Proceeds from this year's Fun Fest will be used to support instructional programs at Orono Schumann Elementary and Orono Intermediate School.
“Candyland” is the theme of this year’s Orono Elementary PTO Fun Fest. It will take place Saturday, Feb. 2, at Orono Middle School.
A medallion hunt begins promptly at 11:45 a.m. Participants are invited to come early and get ready to hunt for three medallions hidden inside Orono Middle School.
The fun continues from noon to 4 p.m. with a silent auction, raffle, carnival games, cake walk, bake sale and lots of food.

A new online silent auction will go live this year on Sunday, Jan. 27, at www.oronofunfest.com and close at 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1. Winners can collect their items during the Fun Fest on Saturday.
