Local College Kids Make Northwestern Dean's List

Kally Kruse, daughter of Dan and Shelly Kruse of Excelsior, was named with High Honors to the fall semester dean's list at Northwestern College in St. Paul. Kruse is pursuing a degree in Spanish education and elementary education at Northwestern.

Highest honors are awarded to students with a GPA of 3.90-4.0, high honors are awarded to students with a GPA of 3.75-3.89 and honors are awarded to students with a GPA of 3.65-3.74.

The following students were also named to the fall semester's dean's list at Northwestern College. The dean's list includes full-time students with a grade point average (GPA) during the semester of 3.65 (out of 4.0) or higher.

Sarah Gosen, daughter of Tim and Sandy Gosen of Excelsior. Gosen is pursuing a degree in Mathematics Education at Northwestern.

Samuel Fredin, the son of Eric and Barbara Fredin of Independence. Fredin is pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies at Northwestern.

Natalie Pitts, the daughter of Gregg and Patty Pitts of Minnetrista. Pitts is pursuing a degree in Design at Northwestern.

Joelle Kloss, the daughter of John and Robbie Kloss of Wayzata. Kloss is pursuing a degree in Marketing at Northwestern.

Founded in 1902, Northwestern College is a private Christian liberal arts college in St. Paul offering more than 50 undergraduate majors, four graduate degrees and several associate degree and certificate programs. More than 3,000 students are enrolled in Northwestern's traditional undergraduate and graduate and continuing education programs.
