Lake Minnetonka College Students Earn Academic Honors

Catherine Bangasser of Excelsior graduated from Drake University with a Doctor of Pharmacy in Pharmacy.
The following local residents have been named to Drake University's President's List for the Spring 2013 semester:
- Joel Fuxa of Excelsior.
- Kathleen Diedrich of Excelsior.
- Ashley Garvais of Mound.
The following students were named to the spring semester dean's list at Northwestern College in St. Paul:
- Eliza Elkjer, daughter of Joseph and Jennifer Elkjer of Delano, awarded with Honors. Elkjer is pursuing a degree in English at Northwestern.
- Sarah Gerten, daughter of Dave and Denise Gerten of Excelsior, awarded with Honors. Gerten is pursuing a degree in Spanish at Northwestern.
- Sarah Gosen, daughter of Tim and Sandy Gosen of Excelsior, awarded with High Honors. Gosen is pursuing a degree in Mathematics Education at Northwestern.
- Shelby Martin, daughter of Roxanne Martin of Excelsior, awarded with Honors. Martin is pursuing a degree in Kinesiology at Northwestern.
- Kellen Stempel, daughter of Richard and Laura Stempel of Excelsior, awarded with Honors. Stempel is pursuing a degree in Social Studies Education at Northwestern.
- Moriah Kuehl, daughter of Bruce and Ranelle Kuehl of Medina, awarded with Highest Honors. Kuehl is pursuing a degree in Ministry at Northwestern.
- Rudolph Heuer, son of Dean and Karen Heuer of Loretto, awarded with Highest Honors. Heuer is pursuing a degree in Music Performance at Northwestern.
- Natalie Pitts, daughter of Gregg and Patty Pitts of Minnetrista, awarded with High Honors. Pitts is pursuing a degree in Design at Northwestern.
- Heather Walton, daughter of Brian and Marie Walton of Rockford, awarded with Highest Honors. Walton is pursuing a degree in Elementary Education at Northwestern.
- Jessica Dehn, daughter of Leon and Sandy Dehn of Watertown, awarded with High Honors. Dehn is pursuing a degree in English at Northwestern.
- Julianne Kaduk, daughter of Frank and Denise Kaduk of Watertown, awarded with High Honors. Kaduk is pursuing a degree in Psychology at Northwestern.
