Lake Minnetonka College Kids Receive UW-Stout's Chancellor Award

Several students from the Lake Minnetonka area currently attending the University of Wisconsin-Stout were recipients of the Chancellor's Award for the fall semester. The award is presented to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.

Kayla Black of Excelsior is majoring in Professional Communication and Emerging Media.

Patrick McSherry of Excelsior is majoring in engineering technology.

Cecily Rentz of Excelsior is majoring in psychology.

Laura Davis of Long Lake is majoring in game design and development. Davis is a graduate of Orono High School.

Paula Rude of Maple Plain is majoring in human development and family studies. Rude is a graduate of Orono High School.

Macneil Randall of Mound is majoring in business administration.

Brittany Beauchamp of Mound is majoring in retail merchandising and management. Beauchamp is a graduate of Mound Westonka High School.

Beth Schmudlach of Mound is majoring in business administration. Schmudlach is a graduate of Mound Westonka High School.

Nicole Trickett of Deephaven is majoring in early childhood education. 

Grace Kennedy of Deephaven is majoring in hotel restaurant and tourism. Kennedy is a graduate of Southwest Christian High School.

UW-Stout, Wisconsin's Polytechnic University, is a special mission university in the University of Wisconsin system. Enrollment this year is 9,357.
