'I Became the Principal Who Wants to Ban Yoga Pants': Dave Adney in Star Tribune
The Minnetonka High School principal talked to the newspaper about his time at the school.
Minnetonka High School Principal Dave Adney, who he will resign June 30, talked to the Star Tribune about his tenure at the school and being at the center of a yoga pants controversy last November:
Dave Adney is still bemused over the media frenzy he inadvertently created last year when he urged parents to dissuade their daughters from wearing what he calls “high-definition pants.” ...
“It morphed into this thing,” Adney said. “I suddenly became the Minnesota principal who wants to ban yoga pants. I was just amazed that it resonated with people in the way it did.”
