Erik Paulsen Presses for Changing Obamacare, Balancing Federal Budget

The congressman stopped by a pair of pancake breakfasts and the MN GOP Third District Convention.

 

U.S. Rep. Erik Paulsen mentioned a visit with students from South View Middle School in Edina in his weekly YouTube message.

His latest "Correspondence Corner" video also touched on questions from constitutents about healthcare and the federal budget. Those issues were also the subject of a pair of press releases from Paulsen's congressional office last week:

Republicans Convene
Paulsen spoke to Republicans in the Third Congressional District, who held their convention in Bloomington on Saturday.

Challenger Sought
Minnesota Public Radio
reported the DFL Party is seeking someone to run against Paulsen in 2014:

Democrats say they are also looking for someone to challenge 3rd District Rep. Erik Paulsen, though no potential candidates have surfaced yet and Paulsen appears to be a lower priority for Democrats.

A representative from Paulsen's campaign declined to comment on possible challengers in 2014.
