Meet the Candidates: Voters Invited to Upcoming Gatherings
An assortment of candidates for local city council, county commissioner and park commissioners will attend September events.
A trio of candidate forums and voter meet and greets have been scheduled for the coming weeks. Guests lists will be posted once they are confirmed.
The South Tonka League of Women Voters will host a candidates’ forum for city council candidates at on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
The League of Women Voters will host a candidates evening at Minnetonka City Hall on Monday, Sept. 17, from 7-8 p.m. for Hennepin County Commissioner District 6. Also present will be candidates for County Parks Commissioner District 4.

Candidate Luncheon at Southshore Center
South Lake Minnetonka community members can enjoy lunch and a candidate presentation at in Shorewood on Tuesday, Sept. 18, at 11:45 am.

Guests will include candidates for city council from the south lake communities, as well as current members of various parks and planning Commissions and city councils.
