Wayzata Police Blotter: June 29 Edition

Information is provided by the Wayzata Police Department and believed accurate. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• A chain-link fence was cut and upwards of $400 worth of stainless steel and aluminum scraps were reported stolen from Perry’s Towing in Long Lake on June 21. No other information is available.
• A $101 gas drive off was reported at the Holiday fueling station on Wayzata Boulevard East last Tuesday, June 21. Police are investigating the incident.
• Five juvenile females were cited for curfew violation last week after officers found them near the intersection of Minnetonka Avenute and Park Street East. The citations were issued just before 2 a.m.
• A 22-year-old man from Shorewood was arrested on suspicion of DWI last week. The June 24 arrest followed traffic stop at Grays Bay Boulevard and County Road 101. The man’s name has not been released.
• Eden Prairie resident Ryan Weber, 29, was arrested and charged with fourth-degree DWI after being pulled over on Lake Street in Wayzata on June 22. Weber’s blood alcohol content was allegedly .15—nearly twice the legal limit.
• Police arrested 36-year-old Luis Naula-Jimbo on June 21 after responding to reports of a domestic assault on Grove Lane in Wayzata. The incident occurred on June 21.
• What are being described as scratches and gouges in the area of a car’s ignition were reported on June 21 on Central Avenue North in Wayzata. The vehicle’s driver side window was also scratched. No other information is available.
