Wayzata P.D. Blotter: Keyed Cars, Pot Bust and Gas Drive Offs

The following are a selection of notable incidents responded to by the Wayzata Police Department between July 18 and July 22. Not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity.

A fueling station on the 1300 block of Wayzata Boulevard East reported three gas drive offs July 21 and 22.

Fifth-degree domestic assault charges are pending against a 28-year-old female from Fargo, ND and a 33-year-old male from Moorhead following a July 21 altercation at the AmericInn Hotel.

A car window was broken around 7 p.m. July 19 and a backpack containing clothing and cosmetics was reported stolen. The incident occurred on the 800 block of Lake Street. 

An 18-year-old male from Independence was arrested just before 1 a.m. July 18 for felony-level possession of marijuana. The driver was originally pulled over near the intersection of Wayzata Boulevard West and Willow Drive in Long Lake for a speeding violation.

Two vehicles parked in a company lot on the 2300 block of Wayzata Boulevard West were keyed July 17. Damage estimates were reported to be $1,500.
