Wayzata P.D. Blotter: Domestic Assault, Smashed Window and Stolen Purse

The following are a selection of notable incidents responded to by the Wayzata Police Department between Dec. 12 and Dec. 15. Not intended to be a comprehensive log of activity.

Misdemeanor domestic assault charges are pending against a husband and wife from Long Lake following an altercation at their home Dec. 15. Police were called to the residence on Underhill Circle just before 10 p.m.

An employee from Lund's had a purse and contents stolen from the grocery store's break room on Dec. 15. Value of the stolen items was not available. Police were called just after 1 p.m.

A neighbor observed a suspect steal a white, covered trailer from the driveway of a home on the 100 block of Gleason Lake Road. Value of the trailer is approximately $2,000. The theft occurred just before 7 p.m. on Dec. 14.

The window of a local cell phone business was smashed Dec. 12, and an iPad and iPhones were taken. Loss is estimated at approximately $2,100. The incident occurred on the 1300 block of Wayzata Boulevard East.
