A runner from Wayzata told KSTP about her experience very close to the explosions on Monday:
Susan Vickerman of Wayzata also ran in the marathon today. She was about half a block from the finish line when the bombs went off.
“It sounded like a cannon,” she said. “Everyone was stunned and no one knew what to do. Some people did what I did and just got out of there as fast as possible. There was a sense of disbelief, and some people started crying. I just wanted to get out of there because I thought there might be more.”
