Two Men From Mound, Two Separate Incidents

One is accused of participating in a home invasion, the other of knocking four officers to the ground.

A man from Norwood Young America, about 45 miles southwest of the Twin Cities, has been arrested in Mound and charged with felony burglary. Prosecutors believe Jesse Kohman and two other men entered a home on Drummond Drive and assaulted people living there.

Kohman is accused of entering through an unlocked door and participating in the attack, during which one man was punched multiple times and another suffered blows to his face. Witnesses told police Kohman and the other two men came looking for a person they said slept with someone’s girlfriend.

Minnetrista police found Kohman and brought him back to the home, where he was identified as one of the men involved in the attack. Kohman denied entering the house and told police he didn't participate in any attack.

Kohman has been charged with first-degree burglary, a felony, and fifth-degree assault. He was free on bail as of this posting.
